Not a demand “GIVE ME!!”, but a recognition that He is the source of everything we have or need. Not “Give me lobster and melted butter”, but please bring to me what is best for my health, strength, and sustenance. Bring me to my employment faithfully, eagerly, and thankfully, so that I have the income necessary for providing for me and my family what we need. We also need Jesus, the “bread of life”. Help us to seek Him with all our heart and serve Him with our mind and body as faithful followers.”
