When we come to know Jesus there is fruit; we all bear if we have truly believed. Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” The fruit of the Spirit is the product of the Holy Spirit’s presence in a Christian’s life. The Bible makes it plain that everyone receives the Holy Spirit when he or she believes in Jesus (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14). Of the number one purposes of the Holy Spirit coming into a Christian’s life, changing that life is at the top of the list. It is the Holy Spirit’s job to conform us to the image of Christ, to be more like Him.
